notes:  
    use barre chords for the verses, but use open chords whenever possible
everywhere else.  it sounds like one guitar (the electric?) arpeggiates the 
B and A chords between the verses.
    ian plays a nice little fill at the end of the penultimate line of 
every verse, but I haven't figured it out (yet).
    to get the nice echoey accents at the end of the chorus, a delay pedal 
(or tremolo/toggle-switching) will probably work best, although you can 
approximate it manually.  the accent is just a B-note played on the high 
e-string at the 7th fret (or the 19th), on an electric guitar.
    in the bridge, it sounds like the bass note of one of the C-chords is dropped a half step at times, creating a Cmaj7/B chord.  this may be just the bass guitar, though.  let your ears be the guide.
