Notes:  
    slash marks are used to indicate sliding up from one chord to another 
(E5/F#5), sliding down from a chord (F#5\E5), and to indicate that the 
bass note of a chord is not the root (such as D5/A).
    when i saw them live in '94, the bridge went D E (7th fret) B, instead 
of D A B like on the CD.
    also, i've arbitrarily referred to parts of this song as a verse, chorus, pre-chorus, etc., although the song structure is delightfully nonlinear (there's no true "chorus").  this was done just for my convenience to chord/tab out the song.
