MAIN RIFF: slashes and backslashes indicated notes you should slide up/down to with your fretting finger, and the "^" character means hammer on the open strings. VERSES: at least one guitar plays a palm-muted version of the main riff rather than straight E5 and A5 chords. CHORUS: use the E5 based on the A string, 7th fret most of the time (the very last time, open E5, A5, and D5 chords seem to sound appropriate). There's also some passing notes between chords that I'm really not sure of but I indicated anyway; play whatever you think sounds most correct.
